XRay Info

The XRay Info window is used to set the attributes of an XRay script item. This window is opened when a new XRay Item is created from Script:New Item:XRay. It is also opened when an XRay script item is selected and Script:Edit Item... is chosen.

An XRay item is a script item which calls a DragInstall extension. XRay items can be added anywhere in the script to perform various actions including playing sounds and opening installed folders.

The XRay Info window contains the following items:

XRay

This field displays the name of the XRay associated with the XRay script item. For new XRay Items, this defaults to "New XRay". There is no XRay named "New XRay", so if you create a new XRay item, you must change "New XRay" to a valid XRay, or your script will fail when trying to build an installer.

Set...

This button allows you to select the XRay associated with this script item as well as set the parameters (if any) needed by the XRay.

Attributes

This tab area allows you to set various attributes for the current item. These attributes include the following:

• System Rules ("System" tab)
• Gestalt Tests ("Gestalt" tab)
• Result Tests ("Result" tab)
• Before XRays ("Before" tab)
• After XRays ("After" tab)

Change

This button closes the window, saving any changes. When an item is first created, this button is named Create.

Cancel

This button closes the window, canceling any changes.

Delete

This button deletes the current item from the script. When an item is first created, this button is not available.
